Minecraft players will love this video made entirely in Blender. And the Making of has an awesome format too, well done guys!

"Destroy You" is an animated music video created in Blender over the course of 5 months.
With plenty of these Minecraft parodies already around, I paid special attention to telling a unique story and making the production more visually appealing than your typical animation. A good deal of time was spent developing improved rigs and a material repository, as well as a blender addon tailored for all blender Minecraft animators (bit.ly/MCprep). The whirlwind of a behind the scenes can be viewed on my channel below to demonstrate these and various other aspects that went into the animation.
"Whirlwind" Behind the Scenes:
Through productions like these, I enjoy being able to create better assets and software for the benefit of other animators in our little animation community.

Partick, this is awesome! We're working on a project that we'll put up here too that has to deal loosely with minecraft. Some of your shots (the 360 degree spin stands out in my mind) were incredibly well done, and the assets and rendering looks so good. What rendering platform did you use? We might reach out to you for some work in the future. ;)
Thank-you, I am glad you enjoyed it! This was entirely rendered using the blender internal renderer. Years ago I would not have considered moving to cycles, but as I learned how to better utilize and make good renders with BI my render times have also increased to the point where I'm not sure which would be faster ;)
As for reaching out, certainly! At the very least I would be able to speedline your production with some of the tools I've used and built myself.
