When I was in China last year I didn't notice any problems connecting to the outside world. Since then, the Chinese government has been restricting internet acccess for many websites. I don't know how this relates to traffic from the rest of the world into China. Presumably, all the Chinese websites are government-approved and they shouldn't have a problem when non-Chinese people see them, right?

What is interesting is that it doesn't seem too problematic to get onto their site, while they can't get out? Of course, I'm talking without knowing the specifics, but it is still interesting to think about.
