Hello, Oscar. My 3D animation students are using your book this semester. For the most part, they are enjoying it. However, there is a file missing for the Chapter 06 module. Specifically, ch06_nodepractice_start.blend is missing from the download materials at the Packt website. Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Janice! Use ch06_nodes_start. Pardon the typo, I think a ticket's been submitted to Packt.
I hope you guys are enjoying the book, and if your class is online, I'd be willing to drop in on a video call!
Hi, Oscar,
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. The students and I thought that was the case, but wanted confirmation. The modern kitchen tutorials are proving to be quite difficult for the students and even for me. They loved the first chapters and found the instructions easy to follow. They feel a bit lost with the modern kitchen. Do you have any suggestions?
I will ask if they are interested in chatting with you online. We are 100% online this semester and next.
Again, thank you your response.
Janice
Yeah, I think I went a little overboard on the kitchen chapter; should've made a studio apartment kitchen, LOL. I'd cut the square footage down a bunch, and scale all the details accordingly. Good feedback for the next book.
