I have just enabled SSL on BlenderNation (all pages are now encrypted when they're sent to you), which will give you better privacy when surfing BlenderNation or when logging in to leave comments or to post new articles. As far as I can tell things have continued to work correctly but if I broke something, let me know :)

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

Of all the websites I visit, this is probably the least "questionable" one, but thanks for keeping our security in mind. Many of us are too stupid to have separate passwords for all our logons.
A secure Merry Christmas to you!
I appreciate the compliment, and best wishes to you too!
Works fine on Firefox, Bart.
Though, at least on my computer, I'm seeing this on Chrome:

Am I just an isolated case?
It looks like you're on Windows? I'm using Chrome on OSX and works fine for me. Did you try clearing your cache and BlenderNation cookies?
Sorry for late response. Yes, I was using Windows. But the issue seems to be clear for me now.
Then again, I'm using a brand-new computer, so maybe that handled things for me. Thanks. :)
:) Glad to hear it!
Thanks for thinking us and giving the gift of secure browsing! Merry Whatever and Happy Everything.
Hehe thanks :-) Best wishes to you too!
I'm not very concerned about my security on this page. I only wish the "Remember me" button on the login page would have any function ;) Almost every day I come here I have to log in manually again...
Hmm weird, it's the standard WordPress login and it has always worked fine for me. Perhaps a cookie has gone bad - could you try deleting all your blendernation.com cookies and log in again? Another thought: do you use a password manager that autofills the form? If so, check it to be sure it didn't save the 'remember me' field as unchecked - that happened to me a few times too.
The last thing you suggested sounds interesting - never thought of that possibility... I will check that.
Let me know if that was it :)
