The Blender Conference returns this year on the 30th of October 2020 in a renewed format, promising a unique and special approach.
While the full plan of what's in store has yet to be unveiled, a Call for Participation has come out for presentation proposals, with a twist: Instead of a full talk, accepted proposals will be delivered in 2 min long videos.
When the original Blender Conference was cancelled earlier this summer, Ton Roosendaal signaled his intention to make something positive come out of the situation.
Let's make 2020 become a year of introspection and renewal. Something positive has to come out of this mess.

Blender and its community have never shied away from adversity, and have withstood the ebbs and flows of the industry only to end up playing a big part in shaping it. This year with all its challenges is no different, and the Blender community will continue pushing forward, Together, Apart.

Hopefully, this year, some effort will be made to have a more inclusive and diverse panel of selected presenters.
