One of my very first YouTube videos was on the Rubik's Cube so this was a fun trip down memory lane! I want to show the mechanism of the cube but also give a general idea of how you'd solve one. Hopefully I didn't confuse too many viewers😮
In blender I wrote an addon to help me animate it. It would take a cube algorithm like this one: RUR'U'R'FRF', and automatically create the animation on whichever cube was selected. This saved so much time! I could also directly input the algorithm while following online guides. Virtually solving a cube was very satisfying.
I also created a geometry nodes setup to help me create whatever size of Speed Cube that I want just by changing a number. Very useful stuff! It would have been very tedious to do without Geometry Nodes.
Thanks for watching!

Great animation and explanation, as always,... but that music is so annoying (and unnecessary) ;-)
You are the best at this Jared and I admire all your work. Keep it up...
