Absolutely awesome !
Thank you so much !...
Totally agree... very very handy sum up to share to colegues who might wonder on the great potential of blender!
I do have a question that I may have to do elsewhere.... I give it a try:
I'm trying to make an animated UV projection from the camera view. That is, with a camera that is animated I'd like to project from it at its position on every frame.
I might be approaching the problem the wrong way... but basically I have tracked a camera from a clip and now I'd like to project that same clip onto a plane corresponding to the floor of my tracked clip.
Hints?
Thanks in advance!
One way to do it is to use a 'window' texture coordinate input. It's in Input -> Texture Coordinate -> Window (below Camera above Reflection). This will project the image or image sequence onto that geometry depending on how the plane is viewed, meaning that if you have a good 3D track it should line up for the whole animation pretty well.
Hello Tim.
Thanks! It works like a charm! I ended up testing nodes and parameters a ending up using exactly the same solution you metion... so I'm glad I've arrived to it by my self and to have someone backing up the solution!
Cheers
"Wait, there's an addon for this" - MWHAHAHA! That made me laugh.
