Tutorial: Modeling an Aircraft

6

aircraftAlvaro Luna Bautista has worked for more than four months on a model of a Policarpov I-15 Chato aircraft. During this period he has documented his efforts step by step. The result is an incredibly detailed tutorial with many screenshots, reference images and downloadable files.

This one is not for absolute Blender newbies or for the faint of heart, but if I had a rating system for tutorials, I'd give this one five stars!

You'll find it on the CGSociety forum.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

Thanks for your interest in my works. I'm studying english right now (preparing FC). Sorry for the spelling/grammar mistakes in the tutorial. It is supposed not to be finished, although there are a lot of stuff to see and download.
