Alvaro Luna Bautista has worked for more than four months on a model of a Policarpov I-15 Chato aircraft. During this period he has documented his efforts step by step. The result is an incredibly detailed tutorial with many screenshots, reference images and downloadable files.
This one is not for absolute Blender newbies or for the faint of heart, but if I had a rating system for tutorials, I'd give this one five stars!
You'll find it on the CGSociety forum.

"Step 1. We can connect these faces with the existing vertices to model the front part." Which faces???
Hey Robin,
B@rt has linked to the second page in the tutorial thread. Simply click back to the first page of the topic and you'll be at the start. :)

Damn. Sorry about that! Fixed :)
Thanks Bart!
Thanks for your interest in my works. I'm studying english right now (preparing FC). Sorry for the spelling/grammar mistakes in the tutorial. It is supposed not to be finished, although there are a lot of stuff to see and download.
Good tutorial, good model!!!
But what about modeling a tail part of aircraft body? I can't find it...
