Translators Needed for French Python Articles

3

PythonLinux Magazine is looking for translators who can help him to translate a series of Python articles from French to English.

Olivier Saraja, author of the articles, writes:

Each month the french Linux Magazine features an article about Python for Blender. It is a series intended for newbies at Python and programming, with intermediate knowledge of Blender.

The first five articles are already available on Feeblemind. The ninth article will be published at the end of the month, but I must wait at least two months between a paper version and an online version.

Unfortunately, they are in French, so of a limited use for the community as a whole. As I don't have the time to translate them myself, a little advertisement about this on BlenderNation (call for a translator from French to English) would be very welcome.

The only constraints are: the text is not Free (it remains the property of the editor) and the translated text will be published on either http://www.feeblemind.org or http://www.linuxgraphic.org. The French version will probably stick to Linuxgraphic and the English version to Feeblemind, it's not sure at the moment. It should also be stressed that this a series, so regular help would be appreciated ;)

If you would like to help Olivier you can contact Olivier by email.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
