I am super stoked and proud to announce that our new collaboration with Dragonboots studios finally launched today! We're now able to offer Creature Kitbash as an additional perk to new supporters of Crowdrender (and current supporters, there are some differences, see the video!).

I did this quick, 2 min video to explain how both new subscribers and existing subscribers can get Creature Kitbash, or if you just want to head to our download page and subscribe right now, use the link at the end of this article.

Creature Kitbash, is an addon with 150 pre-made assets you can use to quickly prototype your fantasy and scifi creatures.

It also integrates well with Blender's asset browser and has a speedy tool bench widget that will automatically add parts with a mirror for things like arms and legs. It has a boolean join function for quickly bashing the meshes together so you can start to sculpt on top of them.

New supporters also get access to our distributed rendering addon for Blender. V0.6.1 for basic tier subs and V0.6.3 for Pro and above. If you need to speed up rendering, our Crowdrender addon let's you easily speed up cycles or eevee renders using multiple computers.

Checkout our download page.

I'm a software engineer, I've worked on numerous technologies over the past 10 years. I started out working on full motion flight simulators and then worked with embedded systems. I now work on building an add-on to support rendering using multiple computers over internet/local networks. I started using blender in 2009 and have done small projects with it since then, however, crowd render, our network rendering add-on is by far the biggest adventure with Blender to date.
