This is realy helpful, if it runs at 2.8
Although it may sometimes give unexpected results, in most cases, it is really helpful, I often wished, without knowing it already existed in other softwares, that Blender could do that. I tried the 2.8 version and I am pretty satisfied. Thanks a lot, Luis !
Where you got the version for 2.8? In the video is a "Wip" version, but i don´t know, how to use it. When i try to install it like a addon, it don´t appear in the addonlist.
Try checking if your blender 2.8 build is the latest one, and downloading from this branch:
https://github.com/BenjaminSauder/EdgeFlow/tree/blender_28
If the problem still persists, I suggest entering in contact with Benjamin, we are having unstable behaviors for 2.8 yet.
thanks, that works
Obviously, this is not "Clever tool from Maya", it is just regular edge flow.
It is wrong to name ngons - "a mesh form from 3dsmax", nodes as "feature from Houdini" and snapping - "a cool stuff from sketchup".
Thank you.
I hope this tool goes to the default Blender addons.
After a while experimenting, I do have a problem : If I want to change several times the settings and click each time on "Apply style"as I am supposed to do, it becomes each time longer to calculate, and at the 4th time, it goes into a loop and never ends. For the very first time in my life, I got a Windows message telling me my RAM was exhausted.
Sorry, my mistake, my previous message was about another plugin. You are not concerned at all ! I apologize....
I just simply love you. It's been 2 years since I swapped from Maya to Blender and this tool it's the ABC of modelling. THANK YOU
Glad to hear that. :)
