Whenever I can, I like to step away from the corporate world of design to see how the rest of the world is living.
After travels through South America and India, my interest in third world social and natural environments took focus.
I would like to share with the P-K audience some of the images and stories from a recent aid project in Eastern Europe.

Romanian Gypsy Family Portraits, July 08
Six young, photographers from Copenhagen and Brisbane joined forces in Brasov, Transylvania for a week long project.
Along with their time, the team gathered sponsorship, support, camera equipment, food and clothing.
A newly renovated, historic town hall was a grand backdrop for our tight schedule of colour, chaos and family compositions.
At the weeks end, the gypsy family groups returned to our exhibition to view all 400 family portraits from their village.
These photos were a gift, along with some kitchen equipment, hand painted organic t-shirts and food items.
For those without the technology, family photos hold special memories and value.
