Rachel always hoped to become either a curator or a rock-star. After not quite making the cut for fine arts nor getting a record deal she enrolled in Arts / Business at UQ and after a year of studying all the art history subjects and as few business subjects as she could, she made the switch to QUT's Creative Industries, graduating with a Bachelor of Creative Industries majoring in Digital Media and Visual Communications.

Rachel is the Editor of UV Magazine which blossomed out of QUT and is now an independent quarterly publication that profiles Brisbane music, fashion and culture to the East Coast of Australia. Rachel's passion is print and her love is live music. She currently works as a booker at Brisbane's iconic live music venue – The Zoo and runs a club-night with friends called 'Wolfgang' that spawned from the successful launch parties of UV Magazine. UV has just launched its 7th issue and Rachel already has developments taking shape for exciting new projects.
