In 2002 Anna Zammit completed her Masters in Arts Management at QUT, writing her thesis on arts fundraising. From 2002 to 2003 she was Foundation Intern at Queensland Art Gallery, working in their Promotions and Foundation Departments on exhibitions such as Story Place. Later, she coordinated major events and festivals and worked as an administrator for a national publishing company. Since 2006 she has been Administration Coordinator at the Institute of Modern Art: managing volunteers, liasing with artists, working on the install crew, and organising the Annual Members Cocktail Party. Anna was recently awarded a Creative Sparks grant from Brisbane City Council and Arts Queensland to run IE, an innovative itinerant artspace profiling emerging artists. Its activity will be documented in the inaugural issue of Independent Press (IP), a Brisbane art newspaper.
