CATHY SMITH
IKEA Hacker / ARCHIHacker
Cathy is a Brisbane-based architect, interior designer and academic. She has both a personal and academic interest in IKEA hacking and DIY, and is trying to convert these interests into a respectable doctoral research topic (with some help from neo-material philosophy).
Her research Masters focused on experimental art and housing projects involving a DIY ethic. Cathy is currently lecturing at the University of Queensland, and completing a PhD at the University of Sydney.
